Image Comics have sent us a press release with details on The art of Todd McFarlane: The Devil's in the Details. Which is, believe or not, Todd McFarlane's first art book! If you're game enough, shell out the extra $35 bucks for the special signed copy which is limited to only 300!

This oversized hardcover showcases for the first time Todd McFarlane's unique art style, which forever changed the landscape of comic book art when he burst onto the scene in the 1980s. THE ART OF TODD McFARLANE features art from original comic art boards; rare, never-before-seen sketches; and images from McFarlane's work on Batman, Spider-Man and the Hulk (amongst many others), as well as McFarlane's own top-selling creation, SPAWN. The regular edition will be limited to 5,000 copies while the signed and numbered edition, which retails for $100 (OCT100466), will be limited to only 300 copies. Reese Witherspoon is having a moment and it’s a pleasure to see. It is so satisfying to witness that the actress who gave us the utterly original and terrifying, Tracy Flick, has still so many more surprises for us. That super sharp, full of intensity, scarily Machiavellian high-school girl (perhaps sociopath) promised an actress who does not hold back.
