Star Trek Into Darkness surfs into Bondi

Only hours away from tonight's red carpet premiere of Star Trek Into Darkness in Sydney, J.J. Abrams, Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto and Karl Urban hit Bondi Beach with their custom made Star Trek surfboards.

Apparently there was a red board made up but it was destroyed by a Gorn moments after leaving the factory. When will they ever learn?

Sure, I haven't been to a beach in nearly 10 years but I need one of those boards more than I need oxygen! Sad but true.
