Filmed in Picton NSW, Australia, 'A Blaster In The Right Hands: A Star Wars Story' is a fan-film and a homage to classic Spaghetti Westerns and 'Star Wars'. Produced by Lunacraft Productions from director Richard de Carvalho and Producer Carol Jovicic, amongst their talented and passionate team of artists, featuring make-up FX prosthetics by ODD STUDIO (Mad Max: Fury Road, Alien: Covenant) with post-production completed at Sydney's POW WOW STUDIOS (Mad Max: Fury Road, Gods Of Egypt).


Starring Ben Hamilton, Kirsty McKenzie, Brendan Byrne, Nathan Pye, Steve Stubbs and Luke Parsonage.


A Blaster In The Right Hands: A Star Wars Story' will be having it's World Premiere on the Opening Night of the 2020 SCI-FI FILM FESTIVAL - Australia's annual festival event spotlighting the best in science fiction, and its countless sub-genres (fantasy, space opera, comics, etc.) from Australia and around the world.

Reese Witherspoon is having a moment and it’s a pleasure to see. It is so satisfying to witness that the actress who gave us the utterly original and terrifying, Tracy Flick, has still so many more surprises for us. That super sharp, full of intensity, scarily Machiavellian high-school girl (perhaps sociopath) promised an actress who does not hold back. Today I have the pleasure of speaking to writer Tom Taylor and artist James Brouwer, creators of my favourite book of recent time , The Deep: Here be Dragons.  In case you haven't heard, The Deep: Here be Dragons is the Aurealis award winning graphic novel from Aussie duo, Tom Taylor and James Brouwer, and the patriotic streak doesn't end there.
